Event sponsors will be seen enjoying a hands-on approach to the 3rd annual Absa RUN YOUR CITY JOBURG 10K on Monday, 24 September 2018 (National Heritage Day).
This year the Absa RUN YOUR CITY JOBURG 10K’s 10km route from Absa Bank City (Johannesburg) to Mary Fitzgerald Square (Newtown) will highlight iconic landmarks, boast lively performances by a host of Joburg’s leading performing arts groups while featuring high energy vibe points activated by event sponsors: Absa, PUMA, 947, Totalsports, City of Joburg, Flying Fish Chill Lite, Rialto, DHL, Thule, Budget, Spur, Big Box Containers, Coca-Cola and Mango.

Runners can look out for Absa supporters at three sponsor points on route.
The exciting #ForeverFaster PUMA ‘Beat Bolt’ sprint will once again be the source of much excitement and #FastTimes. “We’re excited to give Joburg residents another chance to #BeatBolt,” says Brett Bellinger, Marketing Director of PUMA South Africa. “Activated on the second half of the route, runners are reminded to leave a little extra in the tank as this activation requires speed over a 100m sprint. This section of the route will be timed. The runner (male and female) to clock the fastest time over the 100m will take home a PUMA shopping voucher to the value of R10 000.”
The #ForeverFaster PUMA ‘Beat Bolt’ sprint will be stationed in the region of the 8,6km mark in Ameshoff Street.
Keeping a finger on the pulse of Joburg, 947 has been the official radio broadcast partner of the Absa RUN YOUR CITY JOBURG 10K since the event’s inception.

DHL Express, the world’s leading international express services provider, has joined the Absa RUN YOUR CITY JOBURG 10K as the event’s official logistics partner in 2018.

Retail partner, Totalsports will pull out all the stops to keep runners motivated as they run/walk past the Totalsports Vibe Points.
